I'm proud to introduce...

Our little Dorothy!!!

We weren't sure what we wanted Makenna to be for Halloween but when I went to the store to pick out a costume only Dorothy stood out! So Dorothy she was. :) To start out Halloween, I took Makenna trick-or-treating at the mall with my good friend Kelly and her daughter Haley.

They had lots of fun getting candy and I even taught Makenna how to say, "trick-or-treat!" Although it came out like, "Tee tee". Either way it was super cute. After the mall we took Makenna to Gladstone to go trick-or-treating. Our first stop was at Steve & Karen's.. they always have their front door all decked out with decorations and they always wear great costumes. :)

After Steve & Karen's we headed over to Darla & Andy's to surprise them. Darla was excited to see us and loved Makenna's costume!

That was pretty much the extent of our Halloween. Makenna started to get tired so we called it a night and headed home. Here's a couple more pictures for your viewing pleasure.

Happy belated Halloween to everyone!

Pumpkin carving!

I have to apologize for being such a bum lately with updating the blog. I'm a little behind but not too bad. I promise to get updated within a couple of days. :) So, this was the first year that Makenna's was able to participate with carving pumpkins! We had a lot of fun but she was more excited about the garbage bags that we taped to the floor but what can you do?

CHUNK-O

Daddy just getting done cutting into the first of 3 pumpkins...

Pumpkin guts... "EWWWW!"

She always has a cheesy smile for mommy. :)

AND she likes to blow spit bubbles. She's a professional.

Helping Daddy out.....

Silly goose.

You'll never guess what I forgot to do after the pumpkin carving... I didn't take a picture of the carved pumpkins. I'm not kidding. I had intended on taking a picture of them the next night and I forgot. I'm losing my brain. I hope you enjoyed the pictures anyway!

Love,
