Christmas tree time!

Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree....

We picked out our first, yes first Christmas tree together today! We really never saw the point in having one before since we're out of town most of the month of December but since this is Makenna's first Christmas... having a tree is a necessity! So, last night we decided to head out to Gresham- sort of against my will because I wanted to go to this place in Oregon City where my dad used to get our tree-but since Gresham is a little closer, off we went! The farm we picked was extremely commercialized so we decided to follow signs to another farm about a half a mile up the road. When we got there it was pretty dark so we weren't allowed to go out and cut one down. Lame! So we decided to go to Oregon City today.. YAY! One of my best friends, Miss Kelly "Bah-Humbug" Egbert was nice enough to come with us to take some pictures (for our Christmas cards). We weren't there too long but just long enough to get the perfect tree and perfect pictures. ;) Thank you Kelly!

What do you think? Should this be our Christmas card photo?

There are quite a few other photos but I don't want to overload... It was a great day and we will be able to enjoy our tree until after the new year. I will try to get some pictures of Makenna with the finished product in the next day or so.
