Last week our betta passed away. :( We had him for close to three years and Makenna loved him! Well, she loved to feed him and point at him.... The betta had been sick for a few weeks so we knew that he wouldn't make it. It was sad but what can you do? We decided to purchase another betta and let Makenna pick out which one she wanted. We went to Petco and Howie and I picked out our favorite three and let Makenna have the final decision. She picked my favorite! YAY! We brought him home and Makenna is in love. She knows that he's HER fish. It's too cute! I had to take pictures of her and her first fish. :)
Just brought him home... She couldn't stop staring at him. 
She was sooooo excited! 
Howie and I decided to get a new plant and put a different color of "rocks" in the bowl to change the scenery a bit.. New fish, new bowl, right? Makenna noticed the tank was different.. :)
HERE HE IS! "FEEEEESH!"
After bathtime and still in awe.... 
I asked Makenna what she wanted to name him and she instantly said, "FEEEEESH!" So, everyone... Meet "Fish Howard" the newest member to our little family.
Life can't get any better.
