Another weekend at the beach...

Clam digs were finally announced and we scheduled a camping trip immediately! We went last weekend with Grandpa & Grandma Howard to Cape Disappointment... where else would we go right? The weather wasn't ideal the first day and a half but we had a great time anyway! It's nice to have a nice warm trailer to go to when it starts to get stormy. The clam digging was horrendous. You could barely find any and when you dug them up they were only a couple inches long. Lame! We had lots of fun and I made sure to take lots of pictures. :)

When we got to the campground it started raining so Grandma stayed back with Makenna while we went clam digging. When we got back, we stayed in the trailer and had fun blowing bubbles with Makenna.

The next day after a yummy breakfast (courtesy of Mommy) we all decided to go for a walk down to the beach. It was chilly outside but not raining so we bundled Chunko up and headed out! She looked like such a big girl. :)

After our walk, Grandma & Grandpa watched Makenna while Howie and I ran into town to pick up some oysters and steamer clams for dinner. YUM! The weather still wasn't great so my clam digging excursion didn't last so long. Makenna and I went back to the trailer to warm up and watch some movies. After everyone got back from the beach we ate dinner and relaxed in the trailer some more.

The weather on Sunday was gorgeous!!! Grandma, Makenna and I decided to go down to the beach (while Grandpa & Howie watched football) to enjoy the sunshine!

After our walk to the beach Makenna and I took a long nap! Ahhh... I love camping. :) After we woke up it was time to head out to attempt to dig up some clams. Makenna was able to enjoy the dig this time... All bundled up, of course!

I think she's pointing to a "Kiwi". Aunt Amy has a cockatiel named Kiwi and Makenna thinks that all birds are called that. We correct her over and over but she insists on calling them all "Kiwi's".

After we got back to the trailer and Makenna had a bath, she decided to clean the trailer. We're getting her started young. :)

When she was done cleaning we went outside to hang out with Grandpa & Daddy....
