Triple Birthday Camping Trip!!

So, there are a million birthdays in our family during the month of August. My sister-in-law Jeanie came up with a fabulous idea to go camping for our birthdays! My birthday is on the 9th, hers is the 11th and my Dad's is the 25th (Grandma Howard's is the 10, my nephew Alex is the 14th and I know there are more than that!). My Dad reserved two sites near the northern California coast at a campground called Panther Flat. Howie, Makenna and I left Wednesday night and made it to Canyonville (just south of Roseburg) before he got too tired and had to stop. We finally made it to the campground around 3pm on Thursday. It is by far the longest drive we've ever taken the trailer on. I was a nervous wreck the entire time!! My Dad, Carol, Dale, Jeanie, Gage & Ashton FINALLY made it to the campground around 9pm. We ate dinner and hit the sack. Friday was a packed day.... So I'm going to have to post in sections!

Here are some pictures of Makenna in the truck on the way there. I think we were in Grants Pass (about an hour from our destination).... Check out her toes at the top of my chair... Relaxing!!

Friday morning while breakfast was being made by Carol & Jeanie, Makenna decided she wanted to go on a ride on Gage's bike. Not before she put his helmet on though!!

Now she could safely go for a ride. :)
