After the walk in the Redwoods we all hopped in the car and headed south toward Trinidad, CA. On the way there we all stopped for lunch on the beach! It was just a small area right of 101 but it was so pretty. We enjoyed sandwiches that Jeanie had made for all of us and took some pictures of the kids. 
Makenna has been on the beach before but I don't think we've actually let her play with the sand. 
Or feel the WARM sand in between her toes....
