Every year we go down to California for Mr. Gage's birthday. This year he turned 6! I can't believe how big he's getting.... and how hilarious he is! I took quite a few pictures but I'm sad to know now that I didn't take very many at his party. :( I'm a BAD aunt!! We were there from April 23rd and came home on the 26th. I wish we could've stayed longer but we had to work... It's weird having a job again! Here are some pictures from our trip...

We ventured over to Oldpa and Oldma's new house... we were just hanging out in their beautiful kitchen just talking. She enjoyed standing on the counter. Such a big girl these days.... 
Hanging out on Scooby's bed with her pacifier. She's learned that if we ask her to take out her "binks" she pulls it out of her mouth and will hand it to us. I think we're ready for her to get rid of it.... 
Mr. Ashton building something cool with his Lego's. Maybe the only picture we have where Makenna is not trying to break his "artwork"!! Poor Ashton... 
We were on our way to the casino so Gage and Ashton could go bowling. She was clutching onto her baby doll and it was too cute to not take a picture of!
This picture is definitely at the top of my list as one of my favorites... Gage, Makenna and Oldpa walking. I LOVE IT. LOVE IT. :)
After bowling, we went back to the house so Gage could open some of his presents... He was super excited. Ashton had to get into the fun and try to convince his brother to let him open a present.... Not before they both cheesed for Auntie's camera. 
Our present for Gage! He liked it. 
The next morning we were all hanging out watching cartoons and the kids decided to dog pile on Howie. I think Howie enjoyed it more than the kids.... What do you think??
So, Gage's new thing is that he absolutely insists (well, asks nicely but still insists) that he wants to ride in the car with "Aunt Kristine and Uncle Howie... PLEEAAASSSSE!!!!" It's too cute. We love his company so we definitely don't mind. He is our entertainment in the car. We were headed to his party at the park and he had to cheese it up in a picture with Belle. I think he likes her just a bit....
Makenna was sitting in Hunter's (Dale & Jeanie's friends son) booster chair. She has this same chair at home... so she decided to try and pull up the tray in her lap. It wasn't working so well.... but very cute.
So, I have been a bad Auntie since Makenna has been born... I used to take a million and a half pictures at Gage and Ashton's birthdays but these days I've been a little pre-occupied with Makenna. I bring the camera out but since I'm constantly chasing her, it's hard to get a lot of pictures of the sweetest boys in the world. Here is Gage with all his ladies while we were all singing "Happy Birthday" to him. True Gage-form to have more girls than boys at his birthday party.... he's such a ladies man. :)
So, Hunter is a chunk too... here he is STUFFING his face with chocolate cake. Makenna watched him eat it but puckered her lips up when we tried to give her a bite.... I think she's a Momma's girls when it comes to sweets.... She's just not a fan!

We definitely can't drive home from California without a stop at In-N-Out!!!!! She is always making a dull moment amazing.... She is sooooo funny!
