12 months old!

We can't believe she's already one! What a fast year it's been..... It's sad but at the same time, it's so amazing to watch her grow. ;) Makenna's actual birthday was on February 25. She woke up pretty cranky and her attitude didn't change much all day but I was still able to get some pictures of her smiling.

So being the domesticated mommy that I am, I decided to make her cupcakes for her actual birthday. I slaved (hahaha) over these. Here's my finished product.

We tried and tried but she would not try the cupcake. Lame, huh?

Now that she's officially 12 months old, we were able to turn her carseat so she faces forward. She LOVES it! We love it too! Car rides are much more fun now for all of us. Here is a picture of her first car ride facing forward... headed to the doctor!

Grandma & Grandpa Howard came down on Friday (the 27th) for Makenna's birthday party. They brought down a gift for Makenna that she got to open when they got here! Well, the present was on the couch and she took the liberty of opening it without asking. How rude. ;)

She got a big girl chair!

She's so cute. If you ask her, "Makenna? Where's your chair?" She'll go straight to it and is so proud that it's hers.
