We went up to Howie's parents house to celebrate Christmas with them. We were suppose to go up (they live in Monroe, WA) a couple weeks prior but the weather held us back. I'll tell you, I LOVE going to their house! They live on 7 acres? It's pure relaxation. I love their house. ;) So, Howie, Makenna and I got there and the grandparents were out to the casino (they didn't think we were going to make it since I-5 was closed but it re-opened earlier in the day) with some friends so we hung out until they got home. Makenna was playing around in their living room and we obviously weren't watching her well enough because.....
She knocked down the garland....
Daddy had to pick up her mess....
She thought it was pretty funny!!
What a little punk! After we got the mess cleaned up we put in Finding Nemo. Makenna has never watched the movie before and she was hooked!!
So, the next day I was a little annoyed with myself because I forgot to bring her chair. It attaches to the table and it's perfect! Well, I was telling Marcie (Howie's mom) that I forgot it and she left the room and came back with the most wonderful high chair I have EVER seen. It is a high chair but if you turn it on it's side it becomes a rocking horse! BUT... when you flip it over it becomes a desk. It is the most creative piece of woodwork. I love it. I think Makenna loves the rocking horse part.... a few more years to come before we get her opinion on the desk.
Time to open presents!!!
Grandma & Grandpa got her a toothbrush and toothpaste (baby stuff)! Makenna decided to eat the packaging. ;)
A candy fan is hilarious. Just ask Punkin'.
Grandpa & Grandma got a new lantern to replace the one they had from 1985! Love you Glen & Marcie but this one will work WAY better!!!!
They got the case for it too! Exciting stuff!

Makenna got some fridge toys!
Did you know that playing in a box is BIG FUN???
So is seeing yourself in the refrigerator.....
And of course... playing with Uncle Luke!

But... I'm gonna leave you with some spaghetti face. That's the best.

We had a wonderful time and such a wonderful Christmas with everyone. Wished we lived closer to them too!
