Halloween!

This Halloween was the best yet! Makenna was finally old enough to pick out her own costume and go trick or treating! Unfortunately, we didn't take Makenna to a pumpkin patch but we will definitely try to take her this coming Halloween. :) She had a great time though. She loved all of the decorations, carving pumpking and of course, her Little Red Riding Hood costume.

October trip to the zoo with Grandma & Grandpa!

Grandma & Grandpa Howard came down to see us in October and since Makenna wouldn't stop talking about the zoo, they decided that we should all go again! Makenna was super excited! It was fun because Grandma & Grandpa have never been to the Oregon zoo.

31 months!

Time is flying by so fast it's scary.. I look at pictures of Makenna from even a few months ago and it's amazing how much she's grown! Here are some pictures of her at 31 months. One huge milestone?? Toddler bed! :)

Makenna's 2nd trip to the zoo!

We decided one day in late August that we would take Makenna to the zoo again! She hadn't been since she was 15 months old so we knew that she would enjoy it more than she did the last time. We were right! She absolutely loved all of the animals and she still talks about it today. "I went to the zoo... I saw bears and a crocodile and a giraffe and monkeys and elephants.. " It goes on and on. :)

Tahoe- Part 3!

Better late than never, right? HAHA! Considering it's been 5 months since we've been to Tahoe I must say that I've become the worst blogger on the planet. UGH. Oh well, here are some photos of our last full day in South Lake Tahoe. We went to this cute little beach but unfortunately the waves were a little too much for the kids to play in the water. We had a great time on the shore taking photos!

Tahoe was beautiful, we had such a wonderful time and I can't wait to go back soon. We already have this years trip planned... BEND, OR! I know that may not sound that exciting to people who live in Oregon but it's going to be epic. My Dad (Oldpa) is going to be able to go rockhounding with his grandkids. We are so excited. :)
